Enliven`s core strength and stability training is another of our specialist training areas which is used to improve posture, enhance any sporting performance and minimise the risk of injury, especially to the back.
Core stability training involves working the bodies core muscles in the abdominals and back, and collectively this helps to provide the strong foundation on which a strong healthy body is built.
A strong core will give the main trunk muscles the ability to stabilise, support and assist the body whilst performing either various day to day activities, such as shopping or gardening, or when training or participating in a chosen sport, like skiing or running a marathon.
It will provide the main limbs with a strong foundation thus ensuring that correct controlled movements are achieved which will reduce the chances of any injury, particularly to the lower back, and further ensure you have a good and correct posture all throughout your training.
